Nicholson is a thirty-one year old pilot and self-confessed romantic who, tragically, has his Instagram currently set to private.
Channel 10’s flagship dating show sees a group of women compete for the heart of one eligible Bachelor. There have been eight seasons of The Bachelor and six seasons of The Bachelorette produced in Australia, and five couples from the show are still together.
Nicholson is 10’s ninth bachelor, following the esteemed footsteps of Nick “Honey Badger” Cummins and last year’s Locky Gilbert, who is currently in a relationship with Irena Srbinovska after she won the show.
According to a press release from 10, Nicholson is a “self-confessed romantic” and an “intelligent and passionate go-getter who is ready to find his happily ever after”.
Nicholson said, “I am a big believer in embracing any opportunity that presents itself, especially if it has the potential to change your life for the better.”
“The journey ahead will be one of the most challenging experiences that I have ever undertaken, however, I am very excited to meet someone that I could potentially spend the rest of my life with.”
Nicholson is of Fijian and New Zealand heritage. He has Instagram (@jimmynicholson) to private for filming, unfortunately limiting cyber-stalking opportunities before the show’s release.
The premiere date of this season is yet to be announced, and Osher Günsberg will be returning as host of the show.
