Carlton Dry Ambassador Nick Cody To Replace Lawrence Mooney On Triple M Brisbane’s Breakfast Show

Triple M Brisbane has announced that comedian, actor and beer ambassador Nick Cody will join Greg “Marto” Martin and Robin Bailey on The Big Breakfast.

Cody (pictured above, far left) will replace Lawrence “The Moonman” Mooney (pictured above, third from the left), who joined Triple M Brisbane’s breakfast team in December last year as a replacement for Ed Kavalee.

Cody is a regular performer at comedy festivals here in Australia and abroad. On top of his recently televised stand-up special What Of It? on the ABC, Cody has already amassed a plethora of Australian and international TV credits.

He also made his feature film debut this year in Australian movie The Merger.

Furthermore, Cody recently became the face of Carlton Dry, after Carlton United Breweries made the red-bearded wonder the brand’s ambassador, appearing on numerous commercials.

Commenting on Cody’s appointment, Mooney said: “I’ve known Nick Cody for over a decade and he’s quickly becoming the funniest comedian in Australia.”

In addition, Triple M Brisbane’s sporting all-rounder Ben “Dobbo” Dobbin will present breaking sports news throughout the show.

The Big Breakfast currently holds the number one position in the Brisbane breakfast slot, according to the last radio ratings survey.
