Carat managing director Simon Williams is the latest executive to depart Dentsu Aegis Network’s (DAN) struggling media business.
It’s understood that Williams’ departure is part of DAN CEO Henry Tajer’s ongoing restructure of the agency.
In a statement to B&T, a DAN spokesperson said: “As part of the reintegration of Amplifi Australia’s investment and solutions capability back into the group’s media brands, we’ve made some changes to the business.
“We are unable to comment further on these changes as they affect our people.”
Williams was formerly DAN’s chief client solutions officer before he was promoted to Carat MD in September last year when incumbent, Paul Brooks, left to take a senior role at Nine.
His departure follows a string of business losses at Carat and redundancies across the DAN network.
