Thinkerbell Film ‘Judging The Gatwick’ Selected For St Kilda Short Film Festival

Late last year Thinkerbell teamed up with Looking Glass Pictures to document the last days of the residents of The Gatwick hostel as it was shut down to make way for reality tv juggernaut The Block.

The documentary, Judging the Gatwick, covers the closing the Gatwick, the hysteria surrounding the opening of the ‘The Block’ apartments, and the resident’s stories of displacement and survival.

The movie was shown on the walls of The Gatwick the day after the final episode of the Block.

This is its first official screening since then.

The St Kilda Short Film Festival starts on Friday 21 June and you can catch the documentary there.
