KFC’s Dishing Out Fried Chicken Sandwiches Between Two Glazed Donuts & It’s Dividing The Internet

KFC has announced it’s testing a new menu item: “Chicken and Doughnuts”, with the combo truly dividing the internet.

For a limited time at over 40 locations across Norfolk and Richmond, Virginia, and Pittsburgh, the fried-chicken chain is serving a basket of chicken on the bone or chicken tenders with or two doughnuts, and a chicken glazed doughnut sandwich.

In a press release, KFC said it was serving the new menu item to test whether customers want chicken and doughnuts on a national scale.

The doughnuts will arrive in store already cooked and when a customer orders them, the doughnuts will be dipped in the fryers and topped with vanilla icing.

The new menu item is already dividing people on social media, with some users keen to try the combo, while others are less tempted.

KFC said the chicken and doughnuts combo has been popular in Philadelphia, San Diego, and Portland, Oregon.
