Gelatissimo Releases Dog-Friendly Gelato: “Pawesome Peanut Butter”

Gelatissimo is releasing a limited-edition human and dog-friendly gelato so if you’ve ever dreamt of sharing a Lady and the Tramp style meal with your pooch, now’s your moment.

Pawesome Peanut Butter is not only dog-friendly but also vegan and will be available in Gelatissimo stores across Australia from Friday 3 May.

To celebrate, Gelatissimo is throwing the ultimate brunch for customers and their four-legged friend at Bodhi, at Cook & Philip Park in Sydney’s CBD on Saturday 18 May.

There will be vegan yum cha, vegan dog treats and Pawesome Peanut Butter gelato to finish.

There’ll be best-dressed prizes, photo opportunities and puppies to play with.

Gelatissimo CEO, Filipe Barbosa said: “It’s really important to us that we’re always catering to the whole family, and we all know that the family dog is just as much a part of that as anyone.

“We did a lot of research to make sure that this flavour is 100 per cent dog and human approved so our customers can share a bit of fun and deliciousness with everyone – even their furry family members.”

Made with peanuts and soy, the gelato isn’t suitable for dogs with a history of pancreatitis or for anyone, human or canine, with known food allergies or intolerances.
