The Colonel Goes Gangsta In Off-Kilter KFC Spot

Typically, KFC’s Colonel Sanders is portrayed as a jolly old Southerner whose finger lickin’ poultry is both delicious and coronary hardening in equal measure.

However, KFC in the UK’s latest spot portrays the Colonel as a mafia boss out to intimidate his innumerable rivals.

The clever ad by incumbent agency Mother London, sees the Colonel crawling London streets late at night in a big red Caddie and giving it to KFC’s many impersonators such as “QFC” or “LFC”.

It’s all set to Nino Rota’s Love Theme from The Godfather and despite the oddball approach, you have to say it works. Check it out below:
