Cadbury Unveils Real Tear-Jerker In Latest Work For Dairy Milk

Cadbury Unveils Real Tear-Jerker In Latest Work For Dairy Milk

Cadbury in the UK has unveiled its latest work from new creative agency VCCP and its a real heart-string tugger.

The wonderfully simple ad follows a young girl who wants to buy a bar of chocolate for her hardworking mother’s birthday and finishes with the chocolatier’s famous tagline “There’s a glass and a half in every one”.

The campaign includes a social and outdoor iteration, as well as a London pop-up that will be handing out 10,000 free bars of chocolate from three days from January the 25th.

B&T won’t spoil the ending and you can check out the delightful spot below:

Commenting on the ad, VCCP’s executive creative director, Darren Bailes, said: “Our intention is to make people really feel something again for Cadbury… the feeling you get when you watch ‘A finger of Fudge is just enough’ adverts from the seventies. Warm. Homely. Fabric of the nation.

“Our work finds moments of generosity and goodness in a world that at first look can seem pretty selfish. There are no special effects, no fakery… just honest real life.”
