Marketing and automation provider Campaign Monitor has announced it has acquired customer data platform Tagga with the aim of delivering a next-generation B2C CRM for growing companies.
Tagga’s platform will be used as the foundational technology to produce a single view of the customer and carry out hyper-personalised marketing campaigns with Campaign Monitor.
The acquisition will enable Campaign Monitor to create a unified customer profile within a behaviourally driven CRM, designed for the unique needs of B2C companies.
Campaign Monitor CEO Alex Bard said data is the fuel of the future, and that with its extensive growth, marketers need to continually take action.
“It’s growing faster than ever before and marketers need to continually capture that behavioural data, and extract insights,” he said.
“With Tagga, Campaign Monitor will be the marketer’s behavioural data-driven CRM, powering more effective ways for marketers to engage with customers.”
