Campaign: Allianz Means Business

Allianz has launched a new TVC aimed at small business owners, to generate awareness and drive quotes for its small business insurance products.

The campaign created by digital marketing agency Mercerbell takes viewers through the lives of three diverse business owners, working in retail, building and hairdressing. They are put in ‘fish out of water’ situations, taking on jobs that are in complete contrast to their areas of expertise. And when things go wrong, Allianz is positioned as the insurance provider that does the hard work to sort it out.

“In empathising with how hard small business owners work we tap into a real human truth – that you take on a whole lot more when you go out on your own. Thanks to Allianz, insurance is one less thing to worry about,” said Allianz group manager, Dominic Brandon.

MercerBell creative group head, Liz Kain added: “The creative does a great job in adapting and extending the ‘Ahhh moments’ campaign, while making it relevant to a small business.”

A 15 second edit, plus print and online media will complement the lead TVC.
