Business Chicks Heads To The States With New Expansion

Women’s network Business Chicks is expanding into North America, launching its multifaceted platform to a global audience.

Business Chicks (USA) will launch in San Francisco at a breakfast with Dermalogica founder Jane Wurward, New York at a lunch with fashion powerhouse Rachel Zoe and Los Angeles at a lunch with media-mogul Arianna Huffington.

Global CEO, Emma Isaacs, created Business Chicks with the vision to build a global brand and movement. “Over the last nine years we have built Business Chicks in Australia to be a trusted and successful brand and networking tool for women. The goal has always been to take the Business Chicks offering global, it was just a matter of which market to penetrate first, and the US felt the next natural step. It is a very exciting time for us.

“For years now our Australian members who have moved overseas, plus local businesswomen, have been crying out for Business Chicks to expand to the US. 2015 has been a year of mammoth growth and it’s been our year to set some huge goals and work hard to action them.”

Isaacs has not sought external investment to fund the overseas expansion, relying on cash flows from the Australian business. “We have built our Australian business to a point where it can now support the global expansion which is a very proud moment. We can’t wait to bring everything we offer to the US and we know that in return it will provide so much back to our members in Australia, as our tribe grows globally.”

Along with the US expansion including a new edition of Latte Magazine, Business Chicks has continued to grow its Australian brand and product base, announcing the first annual Business Chicks conference ‘Movers and Breakers’ to be staged in Uluru in August 2015 and its first expo ‘9 to Thrive’, taking place over two days in October in Sydney.
