Even in isolation, Burger King is not letting its rivalry with McDonald’s go unnoticed.
Its latest swipe features a full-frontal window display at its Paris restaurant in the Opéra district.
The Burger King restaurant, which is situated right next door to a Macca’s, features a massive window poster with the CV-19 PSA that reads: “Safety Reminder: Always maintain a one-metre distance from your neighbours”. (B&T’s assuming there’s both a French and English iteration.)
In an accompanying press statement, Burger King also issued this warning about its rival’s clown features: “The key to avoiding any risk is to keep your distance from your neighbour, especially if he has a red nose.”
The campaign’s the work of Burger King’s incumbent creative, the famed Parisian agency Buzzman.
