To celebrate the reopening of its restaurants after seven long months, Burger King Belgium is using customers’ lost property to lure Whopper lovers back.

The print campaign, the work of fabled Parisian agency Buzzman, shows actual items left behind by customers that need to be collected.

However, the brand couldn’t resist a cheeky dig at rival McDonald’s. In one of the images, a McDonald’s’ staffer’s hat is draped over a chair, suggesting its rivals prefer its Whoppers.

In a statement, Burger King said: “Everybody has already forgotten something behind them after sharing a delicious meal in a restaurant. Usually, it’s no big deal, you just have to go back the next day. But this time, we had to wait for 7 months. Can you imagine? All these cold toys, orphan books and lost keys that are waiting for their owners since then… Fortunately, Burger King Belgium is finally reopening.”
