Britain’s Got Talent Performer Almost Dies On Stage After Saying Act Could Kill Him

No performer ever wants to deliver an act so bad that they, metaphorically speaking, “die on stage”.

However, British escapologist, Matt Johnson, almost took the whole thing literally after a stunt he was performing on Britain’s Got Talent started go terrifyingly off-script.

The 43-year-old – who’d admitted prior that there was a “good chance” the stunt could kill him – had to escape from a metal straight jacket and a perspex box of water bolted around his head.

But by the one-minute-forty mark, Johnson signalled he was in real strife and paramedics could be seen entering the stage to render assistance.

Thankfully, he finally managed to extract himself from an imminent watery death, but appeared visibly shaken by the end of things.

To make matters worse, Johnson’s act got three “nos” from the judges, meaning the escapologist didn’t move through to next week’s finals. Check it out the near-death experience below.
