BREAKING: Police Raid A Current Affair Offices In Willoughby

NSW Police have raided the offices of A Current Affair at Channel Nine in Sydney this morning.

Media reports say as many at seven police officers entered Nine’s headquarters and searched ACA offices. Staff were ordered to leave while the search was underway.

News.com.au reported it’s not yet clear what was the focus of the raids were but police were seen carrying evidence bags.

The network is said to be co-operating with police.

“There are police there (at ACA offices) and they are investigating,” Nine’s head of publicity Victoria Buchan told News.com.au. “We are co-operating.”

Buchan added the investigation was not surrounding any program or ACA story, and was in relation to a personal matter.

A NSW Police spokesman said: “Police have conducted inquiries at an office in Willoughby this morning. The investigation relates to a personal matter of an employee, and as inquiries continue, no further information is available.” More to come…
