Brands Jump On Pride Float With #LoveWins Tweets

In light of the United States of America legalising same-sex marriage nation-wide over the weekend social media has come alive with congratulatory and supportive messages.

Facebook feeds lit up with rainbow as the social media platform created an easy way for users to change their profile photos into a rainbow-filtered image.

The hashtag #LoveWins has been trending exponentially, with brands also opening their arms wide in support of the decision, tweeting out messages of love and often changing their logos for a more rainbow-hue. We at B&T wanted to show our support as well so our designer Elliott Hind revamped our logo.

Macy’s in the States brought out new invitations just for the occasion.

In Australia too, brands are keen to show their support of same-sex marriage, with more than 50 major brands taking out a full page ad in News Corp’s The Australian late last month.
