Blueprint Group launches Retail Insight in Australia

The UK business that has saved millions for retailers and FMCG clients is now in Australia.

The Blueprint Group was established in 2011 and consists of eight companies, five based in Australia and three in the UK.

Blueprint Group has a proven track record of unlocking value for both retailers and fast moving consumer goods companies through its integrated range of big data and outsourced sales and marketing solutions.

Officially launched in Australia this month, Retail Insight — one of the UK-based Blueprint Group companies — provides innovative analytical technologies and solutions that have transformed the behaviours, operations and performance of some of the world’s largest retail and fast moving consumer goods organisations.

CEO of Blueprint Group, Laurence Clube, said “the Retail Insight business has had proven success in saving retailers and suppliers millions of dollars through our big data analytics and mathematics as well as driving significant improvements in the value they create from their remaining spend”.

“As part of what we can do, we use our data capability to support our sales and marketing work. For example, we have driven significant improvements in return on investment for our customers in the UK from their field activities by using data analysis to direct field resources to the right stores and do the right things once there. We believe what we can do will add significant value for our customers in Australia” Clube said.

Clube held a number of senior sales and marketing roles in ICI, Guinness and Diageo in the UK before moving to be a business unit director in the buying team at the grocery retailer, Sainsbury’s. He joined The Blueprint Group company, REL, in 2007 as UK managing director, growing the business to become one of the leading field marketing agencies in the UK. In June last year he became CEO of Blueprint Group and in October relocated to Australia.

Peter Goggin has recently been appointed general manager of Retail Insight Australia, based in Sydney. “Peter has an excellent track record having worked in a number of senior roles for Retail Insight UK since 2010,” said Clube.
