Blue 449 has finalised the transition of the 20th Century Fox account from Zenith (this news was broken by B&T back in February, by the way) with the hire of Stuart Capel (pictured) as client partner across the Fox business.
Capel joins Blue 449 with 16 years’ industry experience, having most recently worked at Publicis’ sister agency, Leo Burnett as media director. Prior to that, Capel worked as business director at Initiative.
John Preston, CEO of Blue 449 Australia, said: “The Fox transition has been a major process and getting the leadership on the business right was paramount to us, so we are delighted to welcome Stuart into the Blue 449 family and excited for what his leadership skills will deliver in the future.”
Blue 449 has closed its the doors to new business for the last few months, with the leadership team making the decision to focus on delivering a smooth transition for all of the new clients in the first half of this year.
Fox joined the National Breast Cancer Foundation, Royal Caribbean Cruises, Southern Cross Travel Insurance and Puma in moving to the Blue 449 stable recently.
“Our commitment has always been to our people, so we have purposefully taken this time to make sure that, not only were we building a capable team to deliver work that works for all our new clients, but that the strong Blue 449 culture continued to thrive,” Preston said.
