Big Mobile Group has appointed Emma-Jayne Owens in a new position of group sales director responsible for revenues across its growing APAC business.
Ms Owens joins Big Mobile Group, to build on an already successful and prominent career spanning more than 25 years in Australian media and digital businesses, including Network Ten, Austereo, and most recently, at Mi9 where she was National Sales Director, and a key member of the commercial executive team.
Graham Christie, Group CEO of Big Mobile says, “There are few individuals in the industry as experienced, accomplished and respected as Emma-Jayne. She will play a crucial role in the evolution of our market engagement, and generating growth through the development of highly talented teams.”
The appointment coincides with further enhancements to the company’s leading, Creative ImpactTM format and UX design approach, and the expansion of its multi- channel Mobile Audience suite, newly incorporating Native advertising, alongside Audio, Video and high impact Rich Media Display.
Owens said of the new role, “I am thrilled to be joining Big Mobile Group at such an important stage in the evolution of the company. As a trusted market leader in mobile with ambitious plans across Asia Pacific, the opportunity to lead the team to accelerate Big Mobile’s proposition across the region and the prospect of what can be achieved for clients is particularly exciting.”
Ms Owens takes up the appointment in June, based in the Group’s headquarters in Sydney.
