Yesterday, B&T hosted Changing the Ratio, and the event went swimmingly (even if we do say so ourselves). There were inspirational keynotes, captivating panel discussions, and just an all-round educational, invigorating day.
After antendees grabbed some coffee thanks to the life-saving folk at Gumtree, MC George McEncroe opened the day with some much-needed Monday morning giggles, before handing it over to our first keynote speaker of the day, Sally-Ann Williams from Google. And the event was off!
In between delicious breaks for networking and nibbles, attendees were inspired by panel discussions like Attracting diverse talent into advertising and media, The business of women and Leveraging the opportunities of multicultural Australia.
A series of short stories were also presented on the topic of diversity beyond gender, with speakers like Dr Tim Soutphommasane and Cátia Malaquias captivating the audience.
And who could forget our keynote speakers! Deng Thiak Adut took to the stage in the afternoon, followed closely by our headlining keynote speaker Lisa Wilkinson, who had the crowd listening eagerly to her incredible career story.
The day wound up with some networking drinks courtesy of Smart Video, and attendees left Belvoir St Theatre with notebooks full of thoughts and head filled with game-changing ideas.
Catch all the photos above – and if you missed out, live vicariously through them.
And one big final thanks to all our sponsors!
