Fans of Network 10’s The Bachelor have a lot to say about last night’s episode after a rather hot and heavy pool scene was aired in the 7.30pm time slot.
On a hometown visit, contestant Abbie treated bachelor Matt to a rooftop view of Brisbane, along with a steamy swim in the infinity pool.
While the footage aired raised a few eyebrows from Bachelor fans, Abbie’s words left little to the imagination either.
“[My bikini] keeps falling off and my nipples keep coming out,” she said. “Ideally I would just be topless right now.”
A cheeky-grinned Matt didn’t shy away from the handsy pool date, admitting to the camera that he and Abbie have a lot of chemistry, and what eventuated was inevitable.
“There is a whole lot more there with Abbie, and we know that, but we haven’t seen each other for a while, we’re in a pool, scantily clad, we’re gonna be making out,” he said.

While nothing overtly sexual happened in the pool, the scene caused an outpouring of disapproval on social media, with many asking appropriate it was for a 7.30pm timeslot.
