Tony McGinn founded MCM Entertainment Group Ltd in 1983 and remains its Executive Chairman. Tony also leads the Group’s Australian production and media sales business Authentic Entertainment as CEO. In his 30+ years as Principal of MCM, Tony has gained extensive experience in media, content rights, production and syndication across traditional and new media and has built and operated multi-platform media businesses. Internationally he has operated in Europe for a decade and more recently in Asia for six years. Tony also led MCM’s expansion into the new digital media space with the Group's global Video Platform business Movideo, from its inception in 2010 until it was sold to Brightcove Inc. in May 2016. Today, as CEO of MCM’s Authentic Entertainment, Tony is leading the rejuvenation and growth of this three decade strong independent media business. Authentic Entertainment is in its 5th year of partnership with Vevo locally managing the world's biggest premium video music and entertainment brand which reaches a monthly audience of 10 million Australians. As the country’s biggest radio producer, the business continues to syndicate an extensive catalogue of national radio programmes reaching over 2.3 million Australians in over 110 markets every week. Authentic Entertainment is now undertaking its next phase of growth with extensive new content development under way for radio, TV and audio and video on demand.
