I am the founder and Managing Director of Pure Public Relations, previously known as Good Business Consulting. Pure Public Relations is a boutique PR firm specialising in public relations for small and medium-sized businesses, charities and not-for-profits. There aren’t many PR firms that only offer their services to small and medium-sized businesses, charities and not-for-profits. It requires a customised approach, agility, and an understanding of the unique constraints that these organisations face. We believe that the size of a business or not-for-profit organisation should not determine the quality of advice, service, and results it receives. However, we continually see these organisations not being able to access the expertise that big budgets could. So we focus on outcomes, not outputs – it’s pure and simple. I honed my PR skills working with Sydney PR agencies, large and small, but felt frustrated that small and medium-sized businesses couldn’t access the expertise that big budgets could. Founding my own agency, Good Business Consulting, was the natural next step to share my 'big business' experience with small and medium-sized businesses and not-for-profit organisations. In November 2016, I changed the name to Pure Public Relations and narrowed the focus to PR, and I seriously love my work. My experience includes leading public relations and marketing programs for a diverse range of clients and industries from listed Australian companies, global brands, not-for-profits through to sole operators. Pure Public Relations provides proactive media relations and issues management along with other communications services such as speech writing, profile building, customer case studies, online credibility, internal communication, social media, copywriting, stakeholder relations, blogging and reputation management.
