Mark Cusack

With over 20 years’ experience, Mark is an internationally accomplished strategic marketing and communications specialist with expertise developed across the corporate, government, and not-for-profit sectors.With an educational background in journalism and business administration, Mark has been a successful journalist for organisations such as ABC Radio, and WIN television, and acted as Media Advisor for the Australian Government. Mark has also held marketing roles with the University of Queensland developing marketing and advertising strategies, and Metropolitan Housing Trust in the UK, coordinating media and print communications.In Mark’s role as Director of Communications and Strategy for Renaisi Ltd., an organisation helping to transform disadvantaged communities in London and South East England, Mark developed communication and branding strategies, and applied his extensive project management, stakeholder engagement and consultation skills to write and develop an organisational succession plan. After relocating back to Australia, Mark became National Communications and Operations Manager for Create Foundation, a not-for-profit organisation providing a voice for disadvantaged children and young adults. In this role, Mark oversaw the marketing, human resources and business development units, and managed internal and external communications while also negotiating funding agreements with major corporate partners.With a comprehensive understanding of all facets of marketing and communications, and having recently completed his MBA, Mark is an integral asset to the Focused Marketing Solutions team as Director of Strategic Marketing.
