Katie Sheppet

In 2014 Katie was awarded Emerging PR Practitioner of the Year (Highly Commended) at the PRIA Victoria Golden Target Awards.Katie is an Account Manager at Porter Novelli, a leading global PR agency. At PN Melbourne Katie works across retail, consumer, corporate, not-for-profit, government, agriculture and property sectors.Katie was an Account Lead for jack + bill, an offshoot of Porter Novelli Melbourne (the name is derived from the agency’s entrepreneurial founders, Jack Porter and Bill Novelli) which provided three Pozible crowdfunding campaigns pro bono PR, social media and graphic design support to promote their projects and reach funding targets.Outside of Porter Novelli, Katie is a volunteer member of the PRIA National Professional Development Think Tank.Katie is also a member of the PRINKS Melbourne team, a social group for communications professionals and students. Networking events occur every six weeks and provide an opportunity to meet with industry colleagues and share ideas.
