Catherine Donnelly

I started my career with a dot com and two good friends. We thought user generated content was the future, secured VC investment and worked in an incubator alongside six other start-ups before the dot com crash blew everyone away. Since then, and over the last 17 years I have worked in comms for some of the world's leading brands. Brands like Tourism Australia, Foster's, Xbox, SBS, Disney and Sony. I have deep experience in digital, earned media and integrated communications and love ideas that give brands a disproportionate share of ‘now’. Focusing now on industry leadership, I'm currently the General Manager of The Conscience Organisation (TCO) and lead a team of around 25 very talented marketing folk. My passion lies in building healthy and creative work cultures, executing brilliant work and helping people and businesses realise their potential. I have been a speaker at CommsCon and was also a judge at the 2014 New York Festival's World Best Advertising Awards.
