Creativity has always been a passion. Being given the awesome title of Ideas Director for DMG Radio made it an obligation! I love great ideas and strive to share my creativity with others. Heading up the DMG Create team in Sydney sees me working with a team of dedicated, clever people who constantly challenge mediocrity. The radio journey for me started at Perth's PMFM 92.9, while still studying at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts. This lead to work in country radio, including stations in Northam & Karratha, with a return to PMFM in 1994. Late that year I moved to Mushroom Records as Promotions Manager, climbing the company ladder to Sydney to hold the National Promotions & Marketing role with the combined Festival Mushroom Records. I also helped Mushroom create content for it’s new website. In 2003, I returned to Perth as Promotions & Marketing Director for 96fm, helping rebuild the station and increase it's market share. This period included the 25th anniversary celebration which culminated in a CD release and exclusive concert & was followed by an incredibly popular series of concerts called "No Dough Shows" Over this period I also drove the creation of an online member community “The Online Army” as well as a refreshed website with greater usability. In 2008, I was asked to join Nova 93.7 and held the Integration & Marketing Director role there. I created Nova’s real friends With Benefits promotion as a way of building the stations non-existent Facebook profile. The station grew it’s page from 300 to over 28,000 fans in 4 months. It was a finalist for best Station promotion at the 2011 ACRAS. In July 2011 I was appointed Ideas Director for the Sydney division of DMG Create and in September 2012 took on the role of head Of DMG Create. Designed to better serve DMG's clients, DMG Create manages national cross- platform campaigns from briefing to implementation and beyond.
