Australia’s Best Cinema Experience Comes To Chadstone

Australia’s Best Cinema Experience Comes To Chadstone

After two years of anticipation, HOYTS Chadstone is getting ready to open its doors this weekend. Spanning two levels, the brand new cinema complex brings together the entire entertainment experience – with exciting food, drink and snack options, alongside the latest movies.

HOYTS Group CEO, Damian Keogh said,, “We’re thrilled to be launching HOYTS Chadstone. It’s a sensational new cinema experience that’s been built with our customers in mind. Focusing on quality, atmosphere and comfort, HOYTS Chadstone is Melbourne’s one-stop-shop for the most entertaining trip to the movies.

“We’re really excited to be part of the rejuvenation happening in shopping centres too, and feel that Chadstone was the perfect fit for our new complex. We’ve enhanced the cinema experience in a number of ways here – ensuring cinema remains Australia’s favourite form of entertainment.”

Each auditorium is fitted out with exclusive powered recliners, where guests can sit back and enjoy the movie in comfort. For big flicks, you need big screens and big sound – and the Xtremescreens boast the biggest screens in the complex, with DOLBY ATMOS surround sound giving audiences greater immersion into the movie.

To experience the future of cinema technology, there’s even a 24-metre Xtremescreen fitted out with Australia’s first award-winning RGB laser projection by Christie Digital Systems, offering crystal clear 4K images.

HOYTS have completely reimagined the cinema dining experience too. The new ‘Eat Street’ area offers delicious bites from the likes of Chur Burger, Ben & Jerry’s and Arties Bar & Café. For those with a sweet tooth, ‘Treat City’ is the perfect stop with a huge selection of self-serve candy bar treats.

For guests after an extra touch of luxury, the HOYTS LUX experience is better than ever – offering delicious gourmet food and wine selections with an in-cinema dining service.

HOYTS Chadstone will become Australia’s flagship HOYTS cinema, and Melbourne’s ‘movie capital’. It’s been designed as a destination venue – appealing to the families who enjoy the location now, as well as a wide range of new audiences.

This is just part of an entire entertainment re-launch for HOYTS. With HOYTS Chadstone joining a large group of recently renovated cinemas – including, Eastgardens, Wetherill Park, Chatswood Westfield in NSW; Sunnybank in QLD; Belconnen and Woden in ACT; and Eastland, Frankston and Greensborough in VIC. There are more upgrades rolling out across the HOYTS cinema circuit too (those locations will be announced soon).
