The Australian Forms Content Partnership With The Economist

The Australian has announced a new syndication partnership with leading international news and business publication The Economist.

Paul Whittaker, editor-in-chief at The Australian, said: the new partnership is part of the publication’s ongoing commitment to deliver high-quality news coverage, commentary and analysis to readers and subscribers.

“The stated mission of The Economist is ‘to take part in a severe contest between intelligence, which presses forward, and an unworthy, timid ignorance obstructing our progress’,” he said.

“This makes the brand a perfect fit with The Australian.”

The Australian’s inclusion of selected content from The Economist commenced today in print and online.
