Australia’s largest mortgage broking firm, Aussie, is pitching its creative account, after ending its relationship with Special Group.
Aussie appointed Special Group to the account back in June 2016, and brought back its iconic ‘We’ll save you’ slogan in a $25 million campaign with the agency in September that same year.
James Symond, CEO of Aussie, said in a statement to B&T: “We thank The Special Group for its work over the last few years and wish the team all the best in the future.”
Following the departure of Aussie’s general manager of customer experience and technology in September, Symond said the mortgage broking group took the opportunity to review its executive team structure.
“Aussie has begun recruitment for a chief digital officer who, once appointed, will lead the technology operations and digital transformation teams,” he said.
Aussie’s customer experience team now reports into David Smith, Aussie’s former GM of strategy and product, who is now Aussie’s chief customer officer. His new role encompasses marketing and customer experience.
