Aussie Fitness Platform SWEAT Launches First Instagram Camera Effect

Australian-based fitness and health platform sweat are inviting their community to get sweaty in Instagram stories, with the launch of an Australian-first camera effect created in partnership with Instagram.

This launch marks the first time an Australian brand has partnered with Instagram to create a camera effect.

Beginning today, new face filter will be available to everyone who follows the SWEAT Instagram worldwide.

SWEAT founder and CEO Tobi Pearce said: “Fitness is social, and fitness should be celebrated. Part of Sweat’s goal is to bring fitness experiences to women all over the world through digital technology, including Instagram.

“That means we also need to find ways to connect our community through fitness and to celebrate their achievements through tech; AR will be an amazing frontier for this in the future.”

He continued: “Instagram has been an important platform in the development of our brand, and for many of our members it continues to be a place to be inspired as well as to share their personal journeys.

“Therefore, it was perfect that we were given the opportunity to partner with Instagram to create something that allows our members to connect and celebrate their fitness through the latest technology.”
