Arnott’s Teases Shapes-Scented Perfume But Apparently It’s All Just One Big Joke (For Now)

Arnott’s Teases Shapes-Scented Perfume But Apparently It’s All Just One Big Joke (For Now)

If you can’t get enough of Aussie brands doing utterly wild things (like VB unveiling VB-inspired perfume), you’re in luck, because Arnott’s has just teased the release of some shapes-inspired scents.

Cheese & Bacon tickle your fancy? Want to walk the streets smelling like Pizza or Chicken Crimpy? It’s possible, but just not courtesy of Arnott’s, as it appears the whole thing is just one big publicity stunt.

An Arnott’s spokesperson told taste the perfume isn’t actually real (currently) but said: “Aussies might have to keep their eyes peeled in the fragrance aisles”.

“Arnott’s Shapes has always been known for its “Flavour You Can See”,” the spokesperson said.

“We wanted to have a bit of fun and tease the concept of “Flavour You Can Smell” – similar to when you open a box of Shapes – to see what reaction Aussies would have to wearing the scents of our most delicious Shapes flavours.”

So while it seems like all a big joke now, strangers things have happened in 2020, so keep your eyes (and nostrils) peeled.
