ARN Adds New Stations To iHeartRadio

Australian Radio Network (ARN) has announced that Macquarie Media Limited’s 2GB and Magic 2CH stations have been added to the group’s iHeartRadio Australia platform.

From today, 2GB’s full station program, which includes controversial shock-jocks Alan Jones and Ray Hadley, are streaming live on iHeartRadio Australia.

Listeners can also tune in to hear The Songs You Know and Love on Magic 2CH with Gareth McCray, Bob Rogers and Johnny Young.

The new agreement means the full stable of Macquarie’s stations are now available on iHeartRadio following the 2014 addition of news and talkback stations 2UE (Sydney), 3AW (Melbourne), 4BC (Brisbane) and 6PR (Perth) and digital station NTS, along with music and entertainment stations Magic 1278 (Melbourne) and Magic 882 (Brisbane).

Geraint Davies, head of iHeartRadio Australia, said it was great to have the entire Macquarie Media network available on the platform.

“All the other stations have been performing really well, with mobile streaming hours to the existing Macquarie stations doubling so far this year,” he said.

“The addition of these two mighty and well-loved stations should see that number double again.”
