If you’ve ever wanted to swing a punch at an industry peer (that should be most of you) now is your chance. Pitch2Punch is back for 2017 and following last year’s absolute knockout of an event, you are going to want to be involved.

Training starts on the 12th May at 8Limbs Gym in Bondi Junction and culminates at the Ballroom of Royal Randwick Racecourse on Friday 28th July. Applications close on the 20th April.

Pitch2Punch’s creator Gareth Eden-Styche promises that this year will be the best yet. With an outside chance that this might be the last we suggest that you get onto registrations pronto and hound the bean-counters at your office to back your entry. The organisers have great opportunities for brands, so they can’t really say no.

“We’ve had four great years of Pitch2Punch and hopeful for many more” said Eden-Styche. “At the end of this year almost 100 participants will have completed 11 weeks of training and triumphantly stepped into the ring. Everyone would put the experience up there as one of the best of their lives, and anyone can apply. Guy, girl, any age, fitness level or position of authority. We’re not picky. You’ve just got to apply!”

At time of publishing Pitch2Punch has also raised well over $50,000 to support beyondblue and help raise awareness of anxiety and depression across our industry. So, you know, it’s a pretty good thing all round.

“It was one of the best and most challenging experiences of my life. I can’t recommend that you register enough” Darren Collins, Pitch2Punch 2015 Industry Champion said.

“It was an item on my bucket list that I was so pleased to tick off. A great experience, an incredible way to get fit and something our business was delighted to support” added Hovenden’s 2016 opponent, CarsGuide.com.au sales director Carl Davies.

Creative, suit, planner, buyer, seller, producer, director, agent or aging industry journalist, everyone is welcome. So, what are you waiting for? You won’t regret it. Register today and BECOME AN INDUSTRY CHAMPION.
