“We have always believed deeply in the power of creativity. Now, more than ever, we’re inspired by people in every corner of the world finding new ways to share their creativity, ingenuity, humanity and hope,” the company said in a statement accompanying the video.
As well as taking a look at how families and individuals have been using technology to stay connected and entertained, the ad also gives insight into how big name content creators have been keeping the masses entertained from their own homes.
The video features Oprah Winfrey speaking to viewers on her #OprahTalks on Apple TV+ as well as John Kransinski producing an episode of his YouTube show #SomeGoodNews.
There are also glimpses of actress Lily James reading Charlie Mackesy’s “The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse”, DJ D-Nice doing a ‘club quarantine’ set and pro-surfer Yadin Nicol creating a makeshift wave at home.
