Outdoor media provider APN Outdoor has announced the winning teams who will be heading to the Territory for the Outback Wrangler competition.
APN Outdoor’s Outback Wrangler competition closed last Friday, but the adventure has just begun. The outdoor operator this week drew the winner of its hotly anticipated market promotion, which will see two teams of four travel to the Northern Territory, hosted by APN Outdoor, for a weekend of outback adventure, with National Geographic Channel’s Outback Wrangler, Matt Wright.
The promotion has been running in market for the past three weeks with over 4,000 scratchies having been scratched throughout. The essence of the competition was a game of chance where agencies and clients were given a card to try their luck at the major prize. There were 150 immediate winners, 50 of whom will receive an instant camera and went into the draw for the trip, with the remaining 100 winners receiving gift vouchers.
Matt Wright, star of National Geographic Channel’s original series, Outback Wrangler, commented on his centric role in the major prize. “Taking people up to the territory is always a thrill even better when they have won their way there! I have a big weekend planned for the winners so they’d better be ready for a good show come October”.
The winners will spend October 9th – 11th with Wright who will give them a tour of the place he calls home where humans and saltwater crocs collide. With a mix of air boating, helicopter adventure and of course an appropriate amount of croc wrestling, this weekend with the crew from Outback Floatplane Adventures, guests will be delivered the ultimate outdoor experience.
APN Outdoor has announced the first drawn winner came from PHD in Sydney with Kate Milligan, Sheetal Nand, Stewart Gurney, and Amy Francis the first team on their way to the Outback, and the second winners came from MEC in Adelaide with Andrew Zanker, Sakina Saxena, Michelle Vigants and Kirby McDonald taking on the Territory in October.

The winner’s trip will commence on October 9th where the teams will fly into Darwin with the adventures beginning Saturday October 10th!
