ANZ Unveils Its 2018 GAYTMs

Withdrawing money in Sydney is set to become far more fabulous with GAYTMs installed at ANZ’s Oxford Street, Pitt Street, Newtown and Bondi Beach branches.

A well-known fixture of Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras, GAYTMs are elaborate works of art which change themes each year. This year’s fleet are covered in light reflecting rainbow prisms – a celebration of the 40th anniversary Mardi Gras parade.

Mark Hand, ANZ’s managing director, business and private banking and chair of ANZ’s Diversity Council, said: “We have a long and successful partnership with Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras, spanning 12 years as a major sponsor and participant, becoming Principal Partner in 2014.”

“The GAYTMs are one of the many ways we show our support for Mardi Gras, the LGBTI community and our diverse and inclusive workforce.

“ANZ’s Pride Network promotes the important values of diversity, inclusion and respect for the bank’s staff and customers, and we’re proud to have this recognised as the 2017 AWEI Employer of the Year for the Australian LGBTI Inclusion Awards,” Mr Hand said.

The GAYTMs will light up areas around the ANZ branches at 81 Oxford Street, Darlinghurst, 242 Pitt Street, CBD, 294 King Street, Newtown, and 11 Hall Street, Bondi.
