One of those annoying influencers has thankfully got his comeuppance after choosing the wrong man to prank in a video for his TikTok account.
TikTok user jaykindafunny8 – also known Jay to his online fans – has found social media fame by basically being an irritating pest in the aisles of supermarkets and other retailers.
His targets usually find the funny side of his stunts or have no idea what’s happening to them, but not his most recent outing.
Jay decided to prank a hardware shopper by blowing in his ear with a piece of tubing. As you’ll see below, the chap clearly wasn’t in on the gag and took quick and swift revenge on the grovelling Jay who’s heard pleading “‘it’s just a joke” as his head was pinned to the floor.

And it appears social media users weren’t on Jay’s side this time, siding with the angry hardware shopper.
“Touching someone without permission is assault. The kid started it. Old dude finished it,” one person tweeted.
Another added: “This is what we want to happen to every single person filming prank videos.”
While a third quoted a Taylor Swift song: “Play stupid games, win stupid prizes,”they wrote.
