Andy Flemming Promoted To 72andSunny Creative Lead

72andSunny has promoted Andy Flemming to creative lead.

Flemming has worked with 72andSunny for almost a year, working on a variety of pitches and producing work such as the ilume stop-motion film ‘Stay’ and the Google AFL campaign.

Flemming commented, “The 72 crew is full of ridiculous talent from world class places such as BBH London, Apple, Facebook, Wieden & Kennedy and Droga5, New York. And the standard of the work reflects this. Everyone just gets on, there’s no politics and the work is the singular focus. And the chance to get to work again with the incomparable Gen Hoey was too good to pass up.”

Flemming is a highly-awarded creative, with work such as ‘Can Kids’ for CommBank, ‘Ricky Gervais’ and ‘Idris Elba’ for Optus and ‘MateSong’ for Tourism Australia.

Luke Martin, ECD at 72andSunny, added: “Based on how our business and industry is evolving, it was super important for us to have a writer that is as skilled and experienced as Andy on our team. His ability to move fast while maintaining the highest level of craft is mind bending. Andy is one of the best, and to have him on the team to help tackle our clients’ biggest problems is very exciting”.

Ross Berthinussen, president at 72andSunny, “We’re absolutely stoked to welcome Andy to the team. Andy is a creative force, and most importantly a kind-hearted human. Over the years he has been instrumental to many successful campaigns and I’m excited to see Andy apply his superpowers to our clients’ briefs”

Flemming started his advertising career in 1988 in London and worked for Chiat/Day Sydney, BSB Hong Kong, Bates CHI Singapore, George Patterson Melbourne, back to Sydney at M&C Saatchi and now 72andSunny.
