Andrew Ashton (pictured far left) has been named Creative Director of The Edison Agency. he is joining the team with the goal of supporting the agency’s growth trajectory and reshape the agency’s creative offering.
Ashton is an internationally and nationally respected creative leader, writer, mentor, and designer. Since 2017, the Edison Agency has been growing its foothold in Melbourne and Sydney. The award-winning, sometimes controversial brand and packing group work with Asahi Lifestyle Beverages, The Arnott’s Group, Nestle CPW, Lion (now Bega), and a number of independent brands across FMCG, sports technology and property sectors.
“Having recently parked my studio, I am excited about the endless possibilities working with Edison and having the support of a fully operational team,” said Ashton.
Ashton’s appointment is one of several key new additions, including the agency’s first General manager, Michael Tsapazi. Tsapazi, as well as the senior leadership team of CFO, Fiona Currie; Group Account Director, Steven Wren; and agency founder Amber Bonney will strengthen the strategic brand and creative offering.
Tsapazi’s retail marketing and operations experience brings a new level of proficiency and leadership to Edison, that will both support growing its portfolio and achieving its people and cultural ambitions, as well as B Corp certification.
The Edison Agency also appointed Roisin Quinn as Senior Designer based in Sydney, and as growth in the business continues, is seeking a Senior Account Director in Sydney and a National Marketing Manager.
