Amobee Bolsters ANZ Platform Team With Three Appointments

Global marketing technology company Amobee has announced it has expanded its platform team for Australia and New Zealand with three new appointments.

Krish Raja has been appointed to the newly created role of platform sales director. He joins Amobee from Nine Digital, where he spearheaded commercial sales strategy for data and programmatic products.

Raja also brings a wealth of operational, ad product and technical experience from his time at Microsoft in London, having helped launched its programmatic offering in the UK.

Dillen Alahendra has joined Amobee as product consultant, and will be responsible for on-boarding new clients and providing ongoing technology consulting services.

Prior to Amobee Alahendra worked at Telstra, where he led business and technological transformation projects for enterprise clients across multiple industries.

Rounding out the new team is new sales engineer Edd Simpson, who joins from Fairfax Media, where he managed its publisher trading desk operations.

Amobee’s staff expansion follows its acquisition of demand-side platform Turn in February to create one of the world’s largest independent marketing platforms.

Liam Walsh, managing director for ANZ at Amobee, said: “These three appointments significantly expand our platform sales division and will propel Amobee through our next stage of growth, as we introduce our advanced platform capabilities to new and existing customers.

“The growth of our sales division comes during a tremendous year for Amobee, which saw us bring numerous new products to market and onboard new technology capabilities after our acquisition of Turn.

“I’m excited for the year ahead and proud of the recent work we’ve done to integrate all our marketing technologies into a single platform, including our DSP, DMP, analytics capabilities and data targeting solutions.”

Andrew Dixon, Amobee’s head of sales for ANZ, added: “The knowledge and experience Krish, Dillen and Edd bring to the team will be instrumental as we educate customers on our platform capabilities and deliver even more value to our clients.

“I look forward to introducing them to all of our clients in the coming weeks.”
