The American remake of Ten series Secrets and Lies has gone into production and is expected to air in the US in 2015.
The concept is the brainchild of Brisbane production house Hoodlum.
American network ABC placed a 10 episode series order in October last year before the Australian version had even aired.
The local version was a disappointment for Ten with the six episode run failing to crack more than half a million viewers each.
The US version stars Ryan Phillippe and Juliette Lewis.

The UK’s Channel 5 also picked up the rights for the Australian version last year.
