The Australian Financial Review rang in the new financial year in Sydney last week.

The event at The Ivy Penthouse saw the introduction of the AFR’s (Australian Financial Review) new commercial director, Tom Armstrong who recently moved across from Viacom Media Networks in the UK.

Matt Drummond, editor of the AFR Weekend recapped the previous year, while Jen Marshall, product director for the business vertical of the AFR, announced a planned upgrade for afr.com is in the works. “This whole process has been completely founded by listening to our customer needs, our audience, our partners and our sponsors,” she said.
