The Works Launches Podcast With RXP Services & Global Law Firm Norton Rose Fulbright

Expert insights on what’s trending in the world of technology, data and innovation will be discussed in a new podcast powered by The Works, digital services consultancy RXP Services, and global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright.

The Smart Dust podcast – named after micro-electromechanical computers that that can be breathed in to monitor the human brain – has been created to give brain-expanding ideas and perspectives that can be applied to listeners’ daily and professional lives.

Presenters Nick Abrahams (global head of technology and innovation at Norton Rose Fulbright) and Douglas Nicol (partner at The Works) will deliver insights into emerging technology, data and innovation each month.

Abrahams co-created the world’s first AI-enabled privacy chatbot built on IBM Watson and co-founded Australia’s leading online legal service, LawPath.

He is on the board of ASX300 global software company Integrated Research, as well as being on the boards of the Vodafone Foundation and the Institute for Economics & Peace. Abrahams also wrote the Kindle Business’ #1 book, Digital Disruption in Australia.

Self-confessed data geek Nicol is a former chair of the Australian Data Driven Marketing Association (ADMA) and in addition to The Works, heads up conversational marketing platform On Message.

The first episode of Smart Dust, produced by content agency Daresay, covers drones delivering use cases beyond just pizza, autonomous vehicles, how cryptocurrencies are changing business, and China’s use of facial recognition to stop jaywalkers in their tracks.
