TBWA\Melbourne Snares Dairy Giant Fonterra’s Creative Away From Clems

TBWA\Melbourne has won dairy brand Fonterra’s creative after a competitive pitch, B&T can confirm.

The New Zealand-owned Fonterra produces some of Australia’s best-known dairy brands including Western Star, Perfect Italiano, Bega, Mainland and Australian Dairies.

Clemenger Melbourne had held the account since 2006; however, BBDO agencies will continue to be Fonterra’s global agency of record.

B&T has contacted TBWA\Melbourne for official comment but had not received a reply before publishing.

In a statement to B&T today, a Fonterra spokesperson confirmed the move to TBWA: “Fonterra has enjoyed a long history with BBDO and they continue to be our global agency of record.

“In some of our markets, we have taken the decision to award our local brand work to other agencies – Australia is one of these markets.

“We are pleased to welcome TBWA Melbourne as our new agency for our advertising work in Australia. TBWA Melbourne is a dynamic agency with great creative and client servicing credentials, and we look forward to working with them,” the spokesperson said.
