Sportsbet Fast Lane Proves A Grand Final Winner

Sportsbet Fast Lane Proves A Grand Final Winner

In a bid to tackle the ever-rising issue of slow walkers, Australia’s biggest online bookmaker, Sportsbet, spent the long weekend tackling the problem head on.

With a huge crowd expected for the NRL Grand Final, Sportsbet teamed up with brand experience agency Banter to create the Fast Lane; two dedicated 30m lanes on approach to ANZ Stadium.

Labelled with clear warnings of “NO SLOW WALKERS”, the lanes were designed to service those spectators who prefer to canter at a reasonable pace without obstruction.

The Fast Lane gives punters a faster more enjoyable experience to promote Sportsbet’s ‘unfairly fast’ app during the peak of the footy season and then into Spring Racing Carnival.

Luke Waldren, General Manager of Marketing, Sportsbet – “Slow walkers are bloody annoying. We all know it. If you don’t, you’re probably one of them. At Sportsbet we’re hell bent on making things faster. It started with our Apps (which are now even faster-er) and we thought it was now time to turn our attention to this other slow-moving phenomenon.

“Our lightning fast researchers told us that it’s most prevalent at the footy, so we’ve created a solution for those who can’t stand being held up by people that dawdle on the way to the big game.”
