Salesforce Announces Commerce Cloud Integration With Facebook Dynamic Ads

Salesforce has announced the integration of Commerce Cloud with Facebook Dynamic Ads to help make it easier for brands to promote products and manage advertising on the social media platform.

The CRM giant made the announcement at the NRF Retail Big Show in New York on Sunday.

Gordon Evans, vice president of marketing at Salesforce Marketing Cloud, said in a blog post that the integration will allow brands to leverage the two platforms in new ways that help them deliver relevant product information and drive conversion.

“Commerce Cloud’s direct integration with Facebook and Instagram connects your product catalogue to these platforms, and places the Facebook activity tracking pixel on your site,” he said.

“Direct integration with Facebook makes enablement fast and simple, versus having to spend money and time on custom development.

“For brands, the beauty of this is that they are able to leverage Commerce Cloud’s integration with Facebook to easily promote products and manage ads through the same control panel they use to manage their site. This is a key tenet of a unified commerce platform – managing all commerce channels, and being more productive, all from one platform.”

Evans said Salesforce Commerce Cloud’s integration of Facebook Dynamic Ads is currently in beta and will be generally available in the first calendar quarter of 2017 to Commerce Cloud customers.
