New Look QMS NZ A Game-Changer With Recent Acquisition

QMS Media Limited (QMS) has announced that the business has completed the successful integration of QMS NZ with the recently acquired iSite Media. The newly merged entity will relaunch as QMS NZ and will be led by CEO, Wayne Chapman.

QMS Group CEO, Barclay Nettlefold commented, “This marks an exciting new era for the New Zealand OOH industry that will reshape the face of the sector and provide benefits to our advertisers and their customers.

“QMS is delighted to have achieved this integrated outcome in New Zealand, a market we view as being strategically important to the Group. The QMS Board has every confidence that Wayne and his NZ team will continue to drive the business to new heights, and we are committed to ensuring that QMS NZ remains at the forefront of thought leadership and innovation.”

Current QMS NZ executives Chris Monaghan and Cameron Taylor will join members of the existing iSite management group to form an expanded executive team, and will be focused on Group Strategy and Strategic Partnerships respectively. The experience and expertise of the new executive team will deliver on QMS’ strategic objectives and position the combined business for continued success and future growth in the New Zealand market.

QMS NZ’s product offering now includes ten landmark digital billboards across New Zealand, more than 450 static billboards, in excess of 1,400 buses, along with strategically located panels throughout key airport and retail precincts. QMS NZ will also continue to provide core non-traditional product offerings such as experiential marketing and ambient advertising, and will deliver some exciting new digital formats throughout Auckland Transport in the coming months.

Newly appointed CEO, Wayne Chapman noted, “Today’s announcement represents the culmination of six months of hard work to bring together two highly complementary businesses in a manner designed to preserve and create value for our clients and stakeholders.

“Our new business allows us to create a compelling proposition combining an expanded services offering, existing scale and strength, and the ability to stand on the shoulders of the QMS Group’s expertise and experience; particularly in respect of the digital journey to which we are fully committed.

“The key attributes that made iSite a success; our people, values and focus on delivering quality solutions for our clients, are encapsulated in the heart of the QMS brand and will be fundamental to the way in which we conduct business moving forward.

“This is a hugely exciting time for OOH and for QMS NZ. I’m honoured to be entrusted to lead this great business, and privileged to work with and for such an outstanding, talented and passionate team of like-minded people.”
