McCann Appoints New Head of Talent

Creative agency McCann Australia has announced the appointment of Robert Stone as its new head of talent.

Previously located at McCann London, Stone is a member of the McCann Worldgroup Global Diversity and Inclusion Coalition and the IPA’s Talent Leadership Committee.

He was behind the introduction of global jewellery brand PANDORA to the McCann’s client portfolio.

Previously the global digital talent partner for Adidas, Stone oversaw the major sporting brand’s largest recruitment initiative in the history of the business.

He was responsible for building and enhancing Adidas’ digital offering across Germany, Amsterdam, London, Brazil, Moscow, New York, Paris, Tokyo, and Shanghai.

The appointment follows the recent hires within the agency’s production and creative departments, following the implementation of the XBC agency model, pulling together the best minds from the various companies under one roof.

Zain Hoosen, chief operating officer and acting CEO of McCann Australia, said: “We are delighted to have Robert join our team as head of talent.

“His passion for people and expertise in attracting high-calibre talent has helped create some of the best-known advertising campaigns and we have no doubt he will continue this momentum in Australia.”
