The Monkeys’ Justin Drape: “The Greatest Ads Are The Ones That Never Feel Forced”

If there’s one agency with the cachet, the enigma, dripping in the pure unadulterated spunk we call adland, then it has to be (the no-longer-independent) creative outfit, The Monkeys.

And today, B&T’s proud to present, as part of our ongoing ‘The Ads I Wish I’d Made’ video series, one part of The Monkeys’ brain trust (albeit a very big brain) – co-founder and group chief creative officer, Justin Drape.

The series (partnered with video making maestros Redbikini) is all about chatting with leading adland minds about their favourite ads and media ideas that makes them dive out of bed each morning and scream, “Hallelujah, Momma!”

However, there is one simple caveat – the work can’t be theirs! Hence, the title ‘The Ads I Wish I’d Made’.

Ladies and gentleman, without further ado, we give you the man who needs no introduction…
